Basics Explained

Let me start with the basics. As my system is a combination of two betting strategies I would like to give you a full picture and explain these two strategies first.

Many of you may have heard about them before as they are among the most popular and easiest betting strategies used in sports betting. Let’s take a closer look at the components of my betting system.

The first component of my strategy is progression betting system or progressive betting. The main principle of progression is that you double the stake every time you lose. Now, technically this system is most suitable for football and hockey as the odds for a draw are usually very high and the draw result is not rare at all. Let’s take a look at the table.

*Due to different standards of displaying odds in different parts of the world we assume that for every unit invested you receive X units if you win, in this case you get 3 for every 1 invested.

As you can see from the above table, even if you get lucky at level 10 you still make substantial profit. The only downfall here is that you would need enough money to cover your betting up to that level. Hypothetically speaking, this betting system is perfect and flawless as long as you have unlimited resources as the profit would be made eventually anyway. That’s the theory, but what if you still didn’t win at level 10 ..? To recoup your money you would have to go to the next level, but would you be keen on investing twice the amount you’ve put into level 10?

And that’s where the other strategy comes into play. This betting system is called 2 from 3 and is available at pretty much any online bookmaker. To use it you just need three different picks from the bookmaker’s offer. The good thing about it is that you only have to be right with two of the 3 picks you made to still be able to make profit. Let’s take a look.

To simplify this let’s assume these three picks (A,B,C) are for a draw. Please remember that this is only to illustrate the principles of this strategy and it would be very difficult to successfully pick three teams that would actually draw their respective games. From the table below you can see that if two of the three teams draw their games you are still a winner. And if all the teams would draw you would pocket a healthy profit.

But in the real world it’s not that great at all as the profit would be much lower in most cases. This is because you want to pick teams which results you are likely to predict and this means that the odds would be much lower, hence lower profit. And here my betting system steps in..
